Technologies Used

The site was developed with the combination of modern web tools and frameworks in order to accomplish enhanced speed, security, and scalability:

• WordPress CMS: Web Content management and adequate flexibility of the backend.
• REST API: To facilitate a seamless communication between the frontend and backend so as to allow the loading of dynamic data and contact form.
• HTML5/CSS3: To build the layout structure and make it responsive and customized in terms of styles.
• JavaScript (ES6): To be interactive, animated and dynamic in the UI.
• [?] Custom Theme Development: Theme failed to comply with the studio color and branding and has been developed and customized.
• Plugins Used: This is probably Elementor, Contact Form 7, and performance/security applications (e.g. WP Rocket, Yoast SEO).
• Hosting and Optimization: Launched using SSL, caching and Image handling optimized to ensure speedy loading.

Design & Branding

The design of the site is minimalistic in the sense of soft color scheme, distinct fonts, and spacing which allows focusing on the images of the architectural projects without overcrowding the site. The design is practical and professional, the imagery and textual variety are balanced which is the spirit of the contemporary architecture and design.

Purpose & Impact

Sumidesignstudio is used as an online portfolio and identity centre of the design studio - to attract new clients, display work, and be seen as credible and reputed online. It is a marketing gimmick as well as a display of brand showing creativity, technical prowess and insight into the display of designs.
